A year-old man was arrested in April for allegedly paying a year-old girl for sex in the same hotel room he had been interviewed in for a television program about child pornography, it was learned Monday. The Metropolitan Police Department arrested Ken Nishii, a company employee from Matsubara, Osaka Prefecture, on suspicion of violating a metropolitan ordinance for sound juvenile development, sources said. During the taped interview for the program, which was broadcast May 22, he said child prostitution will never cease to exist as long as there are men pursuing it. TV Asahi paid Nishii for the interview, arranged the room and covered his expenses for round-trip travel from Osaka.
